PRESENTATION AND POSTER GUIDELINES

find below details and instructions regarding the oral and poster presentations
for the upcoming ASSA conference.

Format:
Microsoft PowerPoint with standard Microsoft fonts
Duration:
Maximum of 10 minutes per presentation, followed by 5 minutes for questions and
discussions. This will be a timed event, and presenters will be stopped after
10 minutes to allow for questions and to ensure that we stick to the conference
programme.
- Kindly include a title
page, clearly indicating the title of the presentation. List the authors
and their affiliations and please underline the details of the presenting
author.
It is very important that all
presentations be uploaded
between 07:30 and 07:50 every morning, for the day’s presentation sessions.

Material:
Posters will be displayed on poster boards (pins) and a display wall (Prestik).
We therefor ask that posters be preferably printed on canvas (material) or on
gloss paper and that it ideally not be laminated.
- Clearly state the title
and list the authors with associated affiliations at the top of the poster
- Underline the details of
the presenting author
- The text and
illustrations should be large enough to be read at a distance
Posters should be ready and
displayed by 08:00 every day, according to the poster presentation schedule and
daily session themes. This is to allow attendees sufficient time throughout the
day to view posters. Each presenting author should be present at their poster
for the duration of the poster presentation session. There will be no formal
presentations during the poster presentation sessions, but poster presenters
may be asked to talk about the content of their posters. Poster should please
be removed by the end of day, by no later than 18:00.
